Reserch Section

The Music Department Library was stablished in 1962. It is a special library meant for music students and researchers. It is very rich in book and audio-video collections. The library consists on the following sections.

Braille Section : This section is reserved for visually challenged students of the department. Talking books in the form of CD’s are available and the students may listen there or may copy, six computers are reserved for this. In addition books in Braille script are also available.

Internet Facilities : A separate cabin has been recently constructed for this facilities. Ten internet points have been provided. The library is well connected with “Delhi University Library System” computerised services. All the E- resources subscribed by DULS are available in the library.

Listening Room : This is an extension of the Audio-Video library. This place has been provided to the students for listening purposes. They come and listen to the audio materials. 10 CD players have been placed for uses, attached with headphones.
