Geetha Rangendran, was encouraged to learn Music by her parents late Shri. Velayudhan Nair and Late Smt. Vijayamma. She started learning Carnatic musicsince she was seven-year-oldunder Shri. Prabhakara Varma. As she got found of music, she continued learning music under different Gurus Shri. NaiyatinkaraVadudevan, Shri. Padmavati and Shri. Perumal. After completing higher education from Women’s College Trivandrum. She Completed her Ganabhooshanam from Swati tirunal music college Trivandrum Kerala, RagamTanam Pallavi 3-year course from Kartika Tirunal Sangeetha Sabha. Later she got married to Mr. Rajendran Nair, with Support and encouragement she continued learning and did her Sangeeth Shiromani from Delhi university. She started learning Sopana Sangeetham and Carnatic musicunder Dr. Leela Omcheri.She is B-Grade Artist in All India Radio, Had Won scholarship in Sopana Sangeetham from Sahithya Kala Parishad, And Has been felicitated by different renowned organizations all around India.

She is a Leading vocalist for Mohiniattam and Bharathanatyam in Delhi. Some of the names of renowned artists whom she accompanied as lead vocalist would be Dr.DeeptiOmcheri Bhalla, etc.She hasgiven many solo and group classical music performances all over the country and other nations likeEurope andhad performed and accompanied with several Artist. Some of them being:Nishagandhi festival, Mudra Festival, Surya festival, Taj Mahotsav, Khajarao Festival, Thirupathi Festival, NrityaSamagam and Europe. She Has also performed in many famous Temples like Tirupathitemple,NathdhwaraTemple, Udupi temple. She had worked as music Teacher in Kerala School, Canning road for last 7 years.She had been Teaching Carnatic music in Delhi Kalashetra and Trikalaa Gurukulam, currently she is working at faculty of music and fine arts, Delhi University.
